It reads the card, not just the picture
Most scanners match artwork and stop. Artwork is shared across dozens of printings — the same illustration can be a $2 reprint or a $400 original. PullX reads the set code and collector number printed on the card itself, and when it cannot read them it says so instead of picking one.
It works through the plastic
Point it at a graded slab and it finds the card inside the holder, then reads that. Scanners built for loose cards see the slab as the card and misread everything from there.
A card sitting still is counted once
Every card must physically leave the frame before the next one counts. Hold up four copies of the same card and you get four; leave one on the table and you get one. Nothing silently doubles your collection.
Every price shows its receipt
Each figure carries the provider it came from and when it was observed. Anything stale is labelled stale. Nothing is a blended average with no source you can check.
Graded cards
Slabs are cards too.
A graded card is a small card inside a large plastic holder, and a scanner that assumes the outline it sees IS the card reads the wrong rectangle — artwork, set code, collector number, all of it measured against plastic.

Three things worth knowing before you sign up
- Prices come from providers
- They are aggregated market observations from third parties, shown with their source and date. They are indicative, not offers, and not appraisals.
- Grade estimates are estimates
- When grading ships it will predict a range of likely outcomes from photographs. It will not grade your card, and it is not affiliated with PSA, CGC, Beckett or SGC.
- The scanner can be wrong
- When it is not certain which printing it is looking at, it tells you and asks for another photo rather than filing a guess in your collection.
